Mail Boxes:  Though you do not need a village permit to install a mail box you do need to contact the Tolono Post Office located at 113 N Vorcey or call 485-8955.

The Postal Service makes an annual request every spring to repair and improve mail boxes because of the wear and tear that occurs to mailboxes every year.  Especially true after the effects of winter.  Repairing mailboxes improves the appearance of our community and makes delivering and receiving mail safer for your carriers and you as customers.

Some of the typical repairs that may need to be done include:

Replacing loose hinges on a mailbox door.

Repainting a mailbox that may have rusted or started peeling.

Remounting a mailbox post if loosened.

                    Replacing or adding house number.

Animal Control:  The Village of Tolono does have doggie do and a leash law.  So be respect-ful to your neighbors and clean up after your pets and keep them restrained.

STOP DO NOT CALL CHAMPAIGN COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
